At the start of a new year, I always create new goals for myself to work towards achieving and accomplishing. I didn’t do the best job at achieving my 2018 goals, but I’m determined to accomplish all of my goals for 2019.
Post 3 or more Youtube videos a week
My first goal is to continue to upload three times a week on my Youtube channel. I was able to do this for a majority of 2018 and I’m proud for keeping up with it even while being a busy college student. I’m changing my upload days to Tuesday, Thursday
Post 1 blog post a week
I’ve had my blog for almost two years now, but I’ve never been consistent with posting on it. One of my 2019 goals is to post once a week on my blog, most likely on Sundays. I love blogging and writing so I want to stop being lazy and actually commit to my blog. I’m still trying to figure out my voice and niche, but I hope I can develop that over the next few months.
Workout 4 or more times a week
Over the summer, I was going to the gym at least 5 times a week and eating pretty healthy. Once the fall semester started, the good habits I built started disappearing. My goal for 2019 is to get back into working out and
Overall, I want to live a healthier life in 2019. Working out again is a big part of this, but also eating better as well. As I said, I was eating pretty healthy over the summer, but that slowly stopped over the course of the semester. I want to start eating better, adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet and drinking more water. For Christmas, I received a 40oz Hydroflask and it’s been helping drink so much more each day.
Be more active and consistent on Instagram
Instagram is probably my favorite social media platform besides Youtube. I love taking pictures and sharing my life on my Instagram page. In 2019, I want to be more active on the platform and be more consistent in posting. I want to post more on my Instagram stories and share more behind the scenes to my life. I want to share more of my content so f
Journal every day
This was one of my goals for 2018 that I failed at. For the first half of the year, I wrote in my journal almost every day, but slowly it became once every few days and then not at all. In 2019, I want to actually stick to writing in my journal each day. At the end of the year, I want a collection of all of my thoughts and ideas to see how I changed throughout the year.
Make self care a priority
Fall semester was definitely a little rough. I was stressed out a lot of the time and I didn’t do enough to take care of myself. Whether it’s working out, doing a face mask or using my new essential oil diffuser, I want to make self care a priority in the new year. I don’t have many in person classes his semester so I definitely have the time for self care each week.
My next 2019 goal is to travel more. I am very fortunate to have a lot of travel opportunities this year. Later this month, I’ve traveling to New Orleans with my boyfriend, Brian. I’ve never been there before so I’m super excited for our trip. One of my cousins is getting married over the summer so I’ll be traveling to the East Coast for the wedding. My family is also planning other travel around the East Coast since we will already be over there. I’m excited and grateful for both of these trips and I’m hoping I can plan a few more trips as well.
Transform my life
My final goal for 2019 is to transform my life. In the last several months, I feel like I’ve grown a lot and changed my outlook on life. I want to continue building a better mindset and changing my habits for the better. For the new year, I want to make positive changes in my life, work hard for my goals and transform my life for the better. I am going to reflect these changes and this transformation on my Youtube channel in the upcoming months and I want to help others transform their lives as well.
Those are all of my 2019 goals! Thank you so much for reading! I’m so excited to take on my 2019 goals and I hope you accomplish all of your own goals!
