Thrifting, Beach, and More! | Day In My Life

There’s nothing better than a nice day out with friends. This past Monday was my roommate’s birthday so we celebrated with a trip to Pacific Beach and dinner in Old Town. In this blog post, I’m going to give you a look at a day in my life.

Thrifting

The first place we went was Buffalo Exchange, a thrift store in PB. I am always down for a good thrift store and finding cute things at lower prices. This place was a little higher end but I still managed to find two pieces for around $15 each.

The first item I got was a light pink romper. It’s super adorable and I plan on wearing it to a sorority event this semester. The second piece I got was this pair of blue and white shorts from the Gap. I can’t wait to wear these to class because they are both fashionable and comfortable.

Did you even go to Pacific Beach if you didn’t go to Rum Jungle Café? This place has amazing açaí bowls and smoothies. They’re a great cold treat to get on a hot day, especially if you’re heading to the beach. I got the Pacific Beach Bowl without bananas. It was a typical açaí bowl with granola, mixed berries, and peaches.

By this point in the day, we were all a little sleepy and decided to head to the beach. My friends and I all took a nap on the beach for a few hours before heading home to get ready for dinner.

I’ve been wearing my hair in french braids recently because it’s finally long enough to. It’s something different than my normally straight hair and I love it.

Dinner in Old Town

Dinner in Old Town was the last stop for the day. I wore this burnt orange off-the-shoulder dress from Forever 21 with a layered necklace from Old Navy, a bralette from Costco and sandals from Target.

We ate at Café Coyote and had some of their infamous handmade flour tortillas. I had a delicious carne asada burrito that I’m still thinking about now.

That was a day in my life of thrifting, the beach, and dinner in Old Town.  I hope you enjoyed reading!
