Nothing is better than cuddling up in bed after a long day and taking time for yourself. Self-care seems to be the trend lately and it’s so important to take care of ourselves. Here is a list of gift ideas for self-care lovers or for anyone who needs to treat themselves a little more.
Gifts Ideas For Self-Care Lovers
Skincare is such an important part of self-care. I think it’s so important to have a skincare routine and try to take care of my face the best I can. Trying out different face masks can be super relaxing and a lot of fun. If you’re not sure what to get someone as a gift, a face mask or other skincare product is definitely a good idea.
My favorite candles are the 3-wick candles from Bath & Body Works. I love lighting candles in the evening while I’m working at my desk, especially when it’s chilly outside. I like the scents Flannel and Mahogany Teakwood the best of all my candles from Bath & Body Works and any of the candles would make a perfect gift for self-care lovers.
A robe if a perfect gift idea for self-care lovers because who doesn’t want to be snuggly and warm every night. At the end of a long day, nothing sounds better than kicking my feet up at the end of the day and wrapping myself in a robe.
For most of the year, I journaled almost every single night before going to bed, but I fell out of the practice a few months ago. I definitely want to get back into journaling every day or at least a few times a week. It was so helpful to get all my thoughts and feelings out on paper and worry about things less. A journal is a great gift for someone who loves self-care.
Oftentimes, I’m to busy to sit down and take the time to paint my nails. I normally go with quick-dry nail polish because it does save time. If you know someone who loves self-care, I would suggest getting them a few bottles of nail polish or give them a gift card to get a manicure or pedicure.
I purchased a pair of slippers recently and they are my new favorite thing. My house doesn’t have heat because a lot of the houses in San Diego don’t, but it’s starting to get quite chilly at night and in the morning. When I’m sitting at my desk or hanging out, I always have them on my feet. They’re both comfy and keep me warm.
