I’m back today with a new post all about the makeup I’ve gotten recently. In the last few months, I’ve been getting into makeup more and I’ve been getting a lot better at it. Because of this, I decided to splurge on some new and old products for the new year!
Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette ($46)
This product was definitely the biggest splurge item. I find it hard to justify spending so much money on nice makeup and I normally just stick to drugstore makeup. But I had a gift card, so I decided to go for it and spend a little extra on this gorgeous palette. These shadows are super pigmented and blend very well.
Morphe 35OS Palette ($23)
This palette was also a splurge but the best part about Morphe palettes is how affordable they are. For a little over $20, you get 35 beautiful shades. I love the quality of the Morphe shadows, especially at such a great price point. If you’re looking to get a nice palette without breaking your bank, go for any of the Morphe palettes for sure.
L’Oréal Collagen Day/Night Moisturizer ($8.99)
Collagen seems to be the new big health trend, but it’s something that is definitely good for you. I bought the L’Oréal Collagen Moisturizer because it’s supposed to help make your skin look brighter and healthier. Collagen is what makes up your skin, hair, and nails and it’s good to give your body some extra. I’m also going to start taking collagen vitamins to help my skin and hair look amazing in the new year.
L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation ($10.39)
The last of the products in my makeup haul are all re-purchases. They’re all products that I love and that I can’t live without. The first of these is the L’Oréal Infallible Foundation. I normally get the pro-glow one, but they didn’t have it in my shade. Instead, I bought the pro-matte foundation, which I still like, but I love the pro-glow foundation a lot more.
Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer ($3.79)
I struggled for so long to find a concealer that helped cover my dark circles, but this is the best drugstore concealer I’ve found to do that. The Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer is super easy to apply and it applies very smoothly. I use it under my eyes and to help cover any spots on my face. If you’re looking for an affordable drugstore concealer, I would recommend the Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer!
Maybelline Define-A-Line Eyeliner ($4.99)
I have probably used the eyeliner for at least five or six years now. I’m actually the worst person at eyeliner in the entire world, but this eyeliner makes it doable. For a while, I tried to use liquid liner, but it just wasn’t for me. I’m never going to have fancy winged eyeliner, but this eyeliner is super smooth and helps make my eyes stand out.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the new makeup I’ve gotten recently. Leave a comment letting me know what your favorite makeup products are!
