I’ve been reading non-stop throughout the month of June and I managed to read an entire series in a week. In this post, I’m going to review the Not Quite Series by Catherine Bybee.
Not Quite Series Review
The Not Quite Series by Catherine Bybee is made up of six books- Not Quite Dating, Not Quite Mine, Not Quite Enough, Not Quite Forever, Not Quite Perfect and Not Quite Crazy. I accidentally read the last book in the series first without realizing it. I was still able to understand the plot and go back and read the others because each book can be read as a stand-alone book. There are reoccurring characters throughout all six books, but each novel focuses on a few main characters. Some things were spoiled because I read the last book first, but only minor details. The major plot points of each book are not in the others.
I really enjoyed the Not Quite Series because of the characters. Bybee does an amazing job at bringing her cast of characters to life. The crossovers throughout the books were what I really liked. I enjoyed reading updates on characters from the first book in the fifth book. Obviously, this is a romance series with many happily ever afters, but each book included many twists and turns that I did not expect. I’m not sure if more books in this series are coming out, but I really hope so because I thoroughly loved reading this series.
I read the entire series for free through my month-long trial of Kindle Unlimited. It was really easy to download and read all of the series on the Kindle app on my iPad. Not sponsored in the slightest, but I would definitely recommend trying out Kindle Unlimited.
I definitely think you should read the Not Quite series if you enjoy romance books! If you enjoyed this book series review, be sure to check out my last book review here.
Thanks for reading and I’ll see you in my next post! – Kayla
