Surviving Sorority Recruitment | Update On My Life

TLife has been crazy hectic. Sorority recruitment took over my life for two to three weeks. I’m finally back and ready to create lots of content for the rest of the year. For my first post back, I thought I would just do a little update on my life these last few weeks.

Surviving Sorority Recruitment

Recruitment

If you never have to go through sorority recruitment, you’re lucky. Being part of a sorority has been one of the best experiences I’ve had in college, but sorority recruitment makes me want to pull all my hair out. This year, I was on my chapter’s recruitment board so I was very busy during our recruitment practice week and recruitment itself. I was in charge of timing every round and it was incredibly stressful. After four days of recruitment, I had no voice, I couldn’t feel my feet and I had barely slept. Recruitment is finally all over now and I’m so happy.

Bid Day

Bid Day was a lot of fun! I’m glad I got to see all our hard work pay off and we got so many incredible new members. Bid Day is always my favorite day because it’s an excuse to cover myself in glitter and wear a tutu!

Since recruitment ended, I’ve been trying to catch back up on everything in my life. It feels like I’ve been doing homework non-stop but I’m somehow still behind. In an upcoming post, I’ll talk about my goals for senior year and share with you more about all the classes I’m taking.

That’s about it on my life right now. I survived sorority recruitment and I’m finally back to posting on both my blog and channel! I’m trying to figure out what exactly my content schedule will be. Follow me on Twitter and Instagram for updates!
